About the Home Builders Association of Metropolitan Harrisburg The Home Builders Association of Metropolitan Harrisburg (HBA) is an association of building and remodeling professionals and related companies. Those who belong to the HBA ascribe to a code of ethics, have opportunities for continuing education, have access to advertising and insurance benefits and gain a voice on legislative issues. While the HBA does not have the legal authority to service consumer complaints, it takes an aggressive stand as a peer review board. The HBA is best known for two major events that showcase the abilities of our members. The Pennsylvania Home Show is the biggest home show on the East Coast putting 375 exhibitors and 65,000 plus visitors together for nine days every February at the State Farm Show Complex. The Parade of Homes gives potential home buyers nine days to tour up to 50 homes in all price ranges and styles located throughout the Harrisburg metropolitan region. As proud builders and remodelors of homes, neighborhoods and communities, the HBA’s 1,100 members touch many lives and lifestyles throughout the Capital Region.
